Our Online Farm Shop is Now Closed

There will be no local pop-up Farm Shops or Online Sales from us for the next while. We’re taking a break to focus on opening our permanent Farm Kitchens as soon as possible.  We’re not sure how long things will take, given the current restrictions, but we’ll get back up and running as soon as we can.  We’re sorry for the break in service and we want to thank everyone who supported our online sales and pop up shops through 2020. We’re looking forward to seeing some of you in the new Farm Kitchens in Carrick-on-Shannon, Strandhill and Boyle once we’re open. You can read more below!

Farm Kitchens

Our new Farm Kitchens will build on the success of our popular and award-winning Drumanilra Farm Kitchen in Boyle, Co. Roscommon, voted best place to eat in the County, by Trip Advisor reviewers.  They will serve local, organic, wholesome, sustainable food, rooted in place and provenance, and grown by us and other like-minded producers.  Our plans have been delayed by the Covid-19 pandemic. However, we hope to open Ireland’s first ever “drive-through”, organic, fast food outlet in Carrick-on-Shannon shortly.  This will be followed by The Farm Kitchen, Strandhill, with a third premises, our flagship restaurant and farm-shop food hall, planned for Boyle.  Visitors to the restaurants and shops will be encouraged to  visit our organic farm, a 35 minute drive from Strandhill, and 10 minutes from Boyle, to see at first hand, the provenance of the food we prepare.

Organic burgers from ethically farmed meats, vegetarian, vegan and free-from.  Ireland’s first ever organic, direct from the farm, drive-through, fast food restaurant.  On the N4 route to the North West and the Wild Atlantic Way, on the outskirts of the bustling tourism town of Carrick-on-Shannon and the gateway to the Shannon Blueway.

A family friendly dining experience, in the heart of Strandhill on the Wild Atlantic Way, with cosy fireplaces and views over the popular surfing & walking beach to the mountains of Sligo bay beyond.  Ethical carnivore, sustainable seafood, vegetarian, vegan and free-from dining-in menu, together with a take-away burger and salad bar and farm shop retail.

A flagship, food tourism destination in the heart of the charming, heritage town of Boyle.  The building will be home to an organic “direct from the farm” restaurant, a farm produce food hall, a microbrewery, organic bakery, organic butchery, and an eco-living shop.  It will host food related events and workshops throughout the year.
